Jeremy Edelson to Serve as Panelist at the Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee Midwinter Meeting

On March 17, Laner Muchin Partner Jeremy Edelson will participate as a panelist at the American Bar Association’s Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee Midwinter Meeting in a session titled “Political Speech in the Workplace: What Are the Boundaries?” in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

During the session, Jeremy and his fellow panelists will examine the legal and policy considerations of political speech in the workplace, including how employers address productivity and civility concerns while employees retain certain protections to discuss political topics on and off the clock. The discussion will cover key legal frameworks, including Section 7 of the NLRA, as well as the broader implications of regulating political speech at work.
