Overview
Sam joined Laner Muchin in 2024 and focuses her practice in private and public sector employment litigation. She has experience working with employers on a broad range of complex legal issues, including handling claims brought under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, and the FLSA.
Sam is well-versed in representing employers in matters before the EEOC and state and local agencies from their inception. She has experience in all aspects of pretrial litigation, including counseling clients through discovery and motion practice as well as settlement conferences and mediations.
Sam earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude with a certificate in Labor and Employment Law. While in law school, Sam served as a junior associate for the Chicago-Kent Law Review and as a student editor for the Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal.
Prior to joining Laner Muchin, Sam worked as an associate at a boutique employment law firm in the greater Chicagoland area. There, she gained experience counseling employers on legal compliance and representing employers in a myriad of employment law matters.
