Edward Shivers

Edward (“Clint”) Shivers joined Laner Muchin as an Associate in 2024. Initially, Clint joined the Firm as an extern, then he was promoted to student law clerk on a part-time basis.

Clint earned his J.D. at the Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2024, earning a Labor and Employment Law Certificate. A Dean’s Honor List Recipient, Clint served on the Student Bar Association and the Black Law Students Association and as a mentor for the Chicago-Kent Peer Mentoring Program. 

During his time in law school, Clint clerked for the City of Chicago’s Department of Law and was a judicial extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County, working in the Law Division. He also served as a certified mediator for Chicago-Kent’s Mediation Clinic. Before attending law school, Clint worked as a paralegal in the Civil Rights Bureau for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
