Amber Cox Named to Crain's Chicago Business 2024 Notable Women in Law
Laner Muchin is pleased to announce that Amber Cox has been honored by Crain’s Chicago Business in its Notable Women in Law feature for 2024. The feature profiles top women in law in Chicago, honoring their legal, business and mentoring contributions and achievements.
Amber is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee and has been with Laner Muchin for nearly 15 years, joining the firm in 2009 as an associate and becoming partner in 2015. She regularly counsels clients on compliance-related and strategic issues arising under a broad range of federal, state and local employment laws.
Amber conducts employment-related corporate investigations and frequently leads supervisory training on employment topics such as maintaining a discrimination and harassment-free workplace; effective documentation and discipline; and positive employee relations. She also represents employers in labor law matters including labor arbitrations, collective bargaining, representation cases and other proceedings before the NLRB.
