Chicago, IL – Laner Muchin Attorney Wesley Covert served as a panelist on how to “Analyze the Health of your Health Care Medication Costs” at the Chicago CHRO Leadership Summit on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Chicago.
Covert’s session addressed the legal aspects of the Prescription Benefit Manager (PBM) relationship with sponsors of self-insured group health plans, including:
- Challenges facing plan sponsors in controlling prescription drug costs
- Key aspects of a PBM contract
- Fiduciary issues related to the management and control of prescription drug benefits
