Chicago, IL – Laner Muchin Attorney Eileen Momblanco presented on “Navigating Worksite Enforcement Audits” to members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Chicago Bar Association on Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Chicago.
Momblanco’s session addressed the mechanics of I-9 audits, including:
- how audits are conducted
- how you can prepare
- the issues the government focuses on
- the steps you would take to appeal a finding of noncompliance
Momblanco has devoted her career to the practice of immigration law; she has focused her practice on employment-based immigration law and has represented many large, multinational companies located throughout the U.S.
She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Federal Bar Association, Chicago Chapter, and is the Chair of the Immigration Section of the Federal Bar Association, Chicago Chapter. She also currently serves on the National Verification & Worksite Enforcement Liaison Committee for the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
