Chicago, IL – Laner Muchin attorney Bill Nichols moderated the small employer roundtable discussion of retirement benefits issues at the 71st Annual National Conference hosted by the Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA) on May 1-2, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The conference featured industry experts discussing the latest legal administrative and plan design issues, trends, and solutions relating to 401(k), 403(b), non-qualified deferred compensation, and/or HSA plan(s).
Nichols has developed extensive experience in all areas of Employee Benefits law in his 38 years of practice, including work with retirement plans of all types, health and welfare benefits, and executive compensation.
His retirement plan work includes not only counseling employers on plan design and compliance, but especially negotiating service agreements, advising on the benefits aspects of business acquisitions and reorganization, and on benefit claim and disputes, coordinating plan terminations and mergers, developing administrative policies and best practices, defending against government audits, investigations, assisting with corrective actions and strategies, and defending against multiemployer pension withdrawal liability claims.
