Daniels counsels clients on withdrawal liability, mergers and acquisitions, employee benefits litigation, and fiduciary responsibility issues under ERISA. He also works with corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, multiemployer plans and tax-exempt entities and organizations.
Gillespie represents and counsels management on a wide array of employment law-related issues, including workplace safety and health, wage and hour laws, covenants not to compete, discrimination and harassment, wrongful discharge, whistleblower claims, class actions, hiring, discipline, promotion and dismissal decision-making, workplace privacy, and statutory compliance.
Kellam has practiced at Laner Muchin his entire career, joining the firm as an associate in 2011. He has an extensive employment litigation practice, defending lawsuits in federal and state courts, representing both private and public-sector clients. He litigates cases involving overtime and other wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, FMLA and ADA claims, Section 1983 and United States Constitutional claims, Illinois Whistleblower Act and common law retaliatory discharge claims, and common law claims, such as defamation, tortious interference with contract and civil conspiracy claims. Kellam also counsels clients, on a near daily basis, on a broad range of employment issues.
